I've seen some amazing DIY weddings in my time, but never have I seen so much detail & artistry go into a DIY wedding as this one. Family & friends chipped in to help, and it was a most magical affair, perhaps because of all of the genuine love & care that went into it. It included a traditional Native American ceremony including hand-fasting & a tree planting in memory of those who have passed. It was the perfect summer full moon wedding, and I could not be happier for these two lovebirds! ♡
I started off the day taking detail photos of the wedding venue. It was a photographer's dream! Dripping with twinkle lights & florals and the dreamiest jewel tones, I could not believe my eyes! I was even able to contribute my own little touch to the venue with my floral & moon backdrops which I think fit the vibe perfectly!
I then went to the couple's home to photograph some sweet getting ready moments.
They then had a beautiful Native American ceremony lead by none other than my dad! They included their own hand-written vows along with a hand-fasting ceremony & planting a tree in memory of those who have passed away.
After the ceremony we took some beautiful portraits.
And of course you know I love to get weird, so I was living for this dreamy celestial set.
