Hunter got in touch with me back in January to start planning her dream maternity session - a sleazy 70s-style couples boudoir sesh at a kitschy Poconos honeymoon resort. Not gonna lie, this kind of session has been on my bucket list since I started doing photography, so I was beyond thrilled that she found me! She & Oscar traveled all the way from the Boston area to the Poconos for their little getaway, and I was the lucky girl to capture their babymoon kick-off. The outfits, the aesthetic, the beauty of these humans is beyond comprehension, I mean wow. Not only are they gorgeous & fun, they are sweet as pie to boot. The perfect package with one perfect little girl on the way. ♡
We actually ended the session with outdoor shots, but I thought these would be a nice wholesome way to set the tone:
First of all, one thing I have to say about honeymoon resorts is that there are mirrors. Many mirrors. So many mirrors. This made it a bit of a challenge to shoot & make sure my reflection wasn't visible in the images.
What's a honeymoon resort without the cheesy wine glass tub??
Thigh-high tube socks anyone? YES PLEASE.
Oh! Did we mention the room ALSO came with its own personal heart-shaped pool???
