Back in June I coordinated a group of wonderful Pocono vendors to collaborate on an elopement giveaway at the utterly breathtaking @PromiseRidge in Stroudsburg, PA. To enter to win, contestants had to post a photo of themselves with their partners and describe what they love about them and what is unique to their story. After dozens of submissions, I chose a winner through random.org in order avoid having to make the very tough decision on who would win. We were blessed with Rayna & Richie as our couple, who survived and conquered tremendous struggles of loss & Rayna battling cancer and who were so graciously thankful for their prizes. They included their beautiful little girl, Rowan in their elopement, and it couldn't have been a more perfect day.
@julia_glukhoy provided the letter suite, while @kitchenchemistry provided the cake, and @_flowergarage provided the florals:
@cassieenderes arrived before the ceremony to do Rayna's hair and makeup. She did a gorgeous job!
I thought it would be super sweet to do #firstlooks with Richie & Rowan seeing Rayna in her gown from @the_blushing_bridal_boutique for the first time. They did not disappoint! Those adorable expressions:
The ceremony was absolutely wonderful. @alisatongg officiated the ceremony, which was beautifully written and customized especially for these two. I loved how baby Rowan was included in the ceremony by blessing her mommy & daddy's wedding rings, helping them tie the knot, and bearing witness to them signing their marriage license. Alisa did a phenomenal job!
After their ceremony, Rayna & Richie danced to their song, "The World is Crazy" by Best Coast:
We finished the night with some amazing cake by @kitchenchemistry. Rowan approved!
